Facebook posting in Blackford Friends group

Hello all, I am Francine's daughter,Jennifer Snider. I wanted to share some sad news regarding my mom. As some of you may have known, my mom had fallen very ill recently. After a very short, but courageous battle, my beautiful, amazing mom succumbed to her fight with cancer and left us on May 6th. I apologize as sending this message from my mom's FB page seems sort of odd, but I wanted to make sure I reached out to her friends. Please feel free to
message me if you have any questions. Thank you! Jenn

Terry Gemiginani
May 3, 2011
Sad news, my best friend since Jr.High school, Terry (Tyrone) J. Gemiginani died May 3, 2011. A private funeral was held May 9, 2011. Terry put up a courageious fight to the end, but the cancer he had was just too strong. What was really admirable, his new wife never left his side. He leaves his mom (my second mom), his brother Joe and two beautiful daughters and a son. Terry and I have known each other since Jr. High School and when I came home from Vietnam, Terry went to Vietnam. We got out of the army and became roommates with his brother Joe, his cousin Harold and Terry in a large house that we named Animal House. Man, could Terry party, I could never keep up, 12 hours was all I could do. I will miss him so much, all the bars and parties we went to in Los Gatos, Half Moom Bay, the Santa Cruz bars, University of Santa Clara bars, Memories of putting his two daughters on my shoulders at Great America or Santa Cruz. Terry was my best man at my third wedding and I finally got it right this time and so did Terry. His wife always stood by him when he was sick and that was important. My wife and I have been together for twenty years and Terry has always been a part of it. I just wish my best buddy could be here so we can have more memories. We both bought homes on Vancouver Island Canada, I rent out the bottom of mine since it's large and Terry would rent his whole house out and it was always rented. I come up here in the summer from May to Sept. Terry was always a strong person, and a good person, a good man, we have a good friend of Terry's and mine that is also taking this hard. Of all who knew Terry the world is now a better place. Terry and I always considered each other friends and brothers and I will miss my brother tremendously. Chao.
